Why the pipe objects
Grounds do not dissolve. They settle, clump with grease and collect in bends until water has a much smaller place to go.

Do this instead
Tap them into compost or the trash, then wipe the filter or basket before rinsing it.

A small accidental rinse is rarely an emergency. Avoid adding grease or more solids. If drainage slows or gurgles, stop using the fixture and call a plumber.
